Plans approved for 194 home development in Bridgend
Plans for building 194 new homes in Bridgend have been officially approved by local authorities, a recent news report in the local media has revealed.
Developer Barratt Homes has revealed that work on its new Morgan’s Meadow site, which is due to start shortly, will also support around 600 new jobs over the project’s lifetime.
Barratt Homes sales director Richard Lawson said: "This is great for people wishing to settle in this sought-after area.
"We think very carefully before deciding where to build new properties – and we know demand here is very high. We’re thrilled to be playing our part in bringing new homes to people in Bridgend which has been a popular location for us in the past.
"Morgan’s Meadow has been created with a whole host of lifestyles in mind – from sole occupants and couples to growing families. This is very important to us. We know there is a need for new and accessible housing in this region, and our home designers have done us proud here."
