Planning permission granted for 130-acre development site in Cardiff
Plans to build up to 1,000 new homes on a 130-acre development site in Cardiff have been approved by the local council, a recent news report in the local media has been able to suggest.
The Churchlands scheme near Lisvane put forward by Redrow Homes will include up to 1,000 new homes, as well as a new school, neighbourhood centre and green spaces. Cardiff City Council’s planning committee has now granted permission for the development.
Beverley Wookey, head of sales for Redrow Homes South Wales, said: "We’re absolutely delighted that we’ve been given outline planning permission for Churchlands. A lot of work has gone into the planning and we’re confident that it will be an attractive development with a lot to offer.
"We’re looking forward to starting work and bringing 1,000 new homes to Cardiff."
