DevOpsGroup’s multi-use London hub, a base for all sorts of people and events, would most certainly benefit from a good visitor management system.
Knowing exactly who is in the building is vital for security, both physical and data, but it is also vital to ensure the health and safety of everyone involved. For example, if the fire alarm were to go off, who is likely to remember that the visitor, who has left their meeting, is still in the building?
At Time and Attendance Wales we have the perfect visitor management solution: our Management of Contractors and Visitors Software (MCVS). This web-based application allows you to book visitor and contractor appointments in advance. Once appointments are booked, both parties receive a notification email with the details.
If your company office or warehouse doesn’t have a dedicated reception, or the area is sometimes left empty, then we can help there too with our Unmanned Reception app.
Visitors or contractors can book themselves in using a touchscreen when they arrive, and you can set up an email alert to let their contact know that they have arrived.
You can also set up other functions, like integration with access control and special alerts for lone workers who need checked up on.
The attendance software can be integrated with access control software from our parent company, Tensor, to produce a “fire roll call feature”. As soon as your fire alarm sounds the system will print a list of everyone who is currently clocked into the building. This is much faster and more accurate than relying on a sign-in sheet at reception.
