Multi-lingual clocking system allows different languages within the same site or business
Around 400 workers at Prysmian Cables in Wrexham have gone on strike over a pay dispute. The six-hour strike at the site on Wrexham Industrial Estate began at 13:00 BST on Wednesday (June 20, 2012). Night shift workers walked out at 01:00 on Thursday. The Unite union had refused to suspend the action. “It’s an ongoing pay dispute,” was the union’s response, adding that further industrial action, along the same lines, would be held on Monday.
A multi-lingual clocking system is available from Time and Attendance Wales with different languages within the same site or business. Our online Self Service module allows company staff to check their hours and flexi times, or request time off; plus a host of other functions via internet, mobile or other communications. This includes automated multi lingual voice communications. Installation support and training is offered, plus perennial after-sales hardware and software support. Included is a Screen Designer feature so users can customise the database and screen formats.
