Factory clocking monitoring can use a specific shift on public holidays
Bridgend is one of the factories in Wales which will be among those hardest hit by closures at work facilities for disabled people. There are proposals to close seven of the nine Remploy Welsh factories, affecting up to 272 staff. Others under threat are Aberdare, Abertillery, Croespenmaen, Merthyr Tydfil, Swansea and Wrexham. Kevin Hepworth, Unite officer with responsibility for Remploy, said: “Disabled people who are concerned that their family members and members of their community will be denied this type of support in the future.”
Time and Attendance Wales can provide your factory or depot with a complete smart card time and attendance clocking system for monitoring your employees’ clocking data. In our comprehensive WinTA systems, work patterns are a combination of daily rules that are either a repeating pattern of shifts or a list of alternative rules. Each type of pattern can be set up by WinTA to override the normal pattern and use a specific shift on public holidays.
