Tenneco is looking to expand its manufacturing space, hopefully before April 2019. The new premises will be used to store parts used by Jaguar Land Rover, BMW, General Motors, Renault and Nissan. Tenneco have been on this site since before April 2019. 

 

The application’s design and access statement reads: "The proposed scheme offers an innovative and creative solution for the business, to develop a quick and sustainable construction, providing additional manufacturing capacity in order to sustain the business in Wales while mitigating the real threat of the business being moved to alternative locations within the Tenneco organization.

 

"The modular warehouse will be erected on the existing concrete slab with the minimum amount of ground works. The building can be disassembled and re-erected at an alternative site and therefore could be recycled in the future."
