Audio/video processing company creates new jobs in Bridgend following investment

A Bridgend-based audio video specialist has created 13 new jobs and safeguarded 7 existing ones after securing a large investment for its new post-production, restoration and digitisation facility in South Wales, a recent news report in the local media has been able to reveal.

The company, Dragon, is based at the Sony Technology Centre at Pencoed and managed to invest £445,000 in the new facility, out of which £200,500 were provided by the Welsh Government’s Economic Growth Fund.

The South Wales hub will also be connected to Dragon’s London offices, allowing clients to review work from Soho.

Paul Wright (pictured), managing director of Dragon, said: "The new picture post-production equipment will allow Dragon to compete on an equal footing with major post production brands in the UK and across Europe and combined with the Soho hub, we can really make our mark."
