Aberystwyth Town FC stadium to undergo major redevelopment plan

The Aberystwyth Town FC football club has revealed plans to carry out a major refurbishment of its stadium, which includes a £13m development to build 80 flats on land near Park Avenue, a news report in the local business media has revealed.

The scheme also involves constructing a new 500-seat stand at the club’s home, Park Avenue, and laying an Astroturf pitch. There would also be a new clubhouse/restaurant, additional rooms, community facilities and a dedicated youth centre.

As mentioned above, the club would also collaborate with housing association Tai Ceredigion to build 80 flats down by the river near the stadium.
