One of the UK’s leading insurance groups has revealed plans to create a customer service hub at its Cardiff office and move some functions to Wales from the South East of England, thus creating more jobs in the area.

Legal & General’s chief executive, Nigel Wilson, believes that South Wales’s advantages include a “skilled, dynamic workforce”, university involvement and strong political leadership.
