Employee attendance data is gathered from clocking machines in real time
The Trostre tinplate works in Llanelli will have production halted for a week. More than 700 staff are employed at Trostre but owners Tata said the production cessation will not lead to any job losses. Tata is the biggest private employer in Wales with approximately 7,500 people. The firm could not reveal whether any temporary halt in production would be introduced in the future at Tata’s major steel plants in Wales, at Port Talbot or Llanwern in Newport.
Time & Attendance Wales systems are based on smart card technology, allowing your employees to clock in and out extremely quickly. This information can be used to ensure that European working time regulations are not breached and can be exported in many forms to allow integration with existing payroll software. Your employees’ time and attendance data is gathered from the clocking machines and available in real time. Individual and Group Absence Planners are just some of the many features of the network which has a standard Explorer-style interface.
