Contactless smart card clocking up to 15 times faster than equivalent swipe cards
The Ysgol Uwchradd Tywyn school has been hit by a teachers’ strike beginning today (Tuesday, September 6, 2011). The teaching union is starting industrial action at the Gwynedd secondary school over job cuts and changes to their contracts. The union stated members were compelled to take a stand to protect their jobs after the local authority showed a "lack of willingness to negotiate". In reply Gwynedd council said the strike affected only one school.
Time and Attendance Wales can provide you with a complete time and attendance clocking system including 50 smart cards. Contactless smart cards or key fobs are used to operate the system, which use Radio Frequency reading technology. The large, fluorescent display of the time and attendance reader makes it easy to confirm your clockings, check flexi-time hours or make job booking transactions. Our smart card technology is up to 15 times faster than equivalent swipe card devices, so smart cards are the clocking solution for the 21st century.
