Electrical engineering company set to go on recruitment drive
An electrical engineering company is planning to take on multiple new employees following the launch of a new manufacturing facility in North Wales, a recent news report in the local media has found.
LCA Group’s new facility on the site of the former Davies Bakery at Hawarden Industrial Park will bring together existing LCA sites in Runcorn and Ewloe. To cope with demand, the company is now seeking control panel wiring experts and will start recruiting for a wider range of roles in the coming months.
Managing director Alan Sheppard said: "This new manufacturing facility – combined with our investment in new manufacturing and design innovation – means we start 2018 with a clear vision for growth."
The Welsh Government’s cabinet secretary for the economy Ken Skates cut the ribbon at Gibson House. He added: "As we enter the fourth industrial revolution we need to make sure that we’re equipping people and businesses with what’s needed in order to thrive rather than just survive and I think that’s exactly what LCA Group is doing.
"The Welsh Government is passionate about growing our economy and this is precisely the kind of business that we want to see growing in Wales."
