Call centre operator to recruit 400 new members of staff in Cardiff


A call centre operator has revealed plans to create 400 new jobs in Cardiff with the opening of a second contact centre with support from the Welsh Government, a news report has been able to reveal.

Firstsource Solutions’ expansion, which is also backed by Cardiff City Council, comes after the company won customer service contracts with a UK media company and a global entertainment business.

Kathryn Chivers, Firstsource Solutions vice president for sales, said: "We already have nearly 1,000 employees in Cardiff which focuses on making it a great place to work.
