New jobs created following expansion of popular restaurant group
A popular Caernarfon Italian restaurant has decided to expand to a new location in Y Felinheli, creating 8 jobs in the process, a recent news report in the local media has been able to reveal.
Paolo Basetti Sani and Ferdinando Salvestrini launched Osteria Caernarfon in March 2014 and have now opened Enoteca Y Felinheli with backing from NatWest, Business Wales and Visit Wales.
The restaurant, which opened its doors earlier this month, has created eight jobs, including a chef and sommelier from Italy as well as local staff including Welsh speakers.
The restaurateurs have banked with NatWest since opening Osteria, but as the business was still only a year old when the pair decided to open Enoteca the bank was not able to provide a business loan at such an early stage, but helped them secure a start-up loan from Business Wales, as well as a grant from Visit Wales.
