Tech consultancy to recruit 100 new members of staff for Wales centre
A well-known tech consultancy has revealed plans to recruit more than 100 members of staff for its new application delivery centre in South Wales, a recent news report in the local media has been able to reveal.
Capgemini’s new centre in Treforest, opening in January 2016, will become the company’s main development site for contracts that require a UK-based centre to deliver security sensitive projects. It is being supported by £1.4m in Welsh Government Business Finance funding.
Capgemini’s Welsh Government senior account executive, Andy McDonough, said: "Our new facilities in Treforest represent our ongoing investment in the region, as well as our commitment to attracting and nurturing outstanding talent. South Wales is fast becoming one of Britain’s most important destinations for sourcing technical skills, and the 100 new roles will play an important role in our ability to meet the evolving needs of our customers.
"We’re looking forward to building a strong team consisting of our experienced consultants, high skilled practitioners new to the business, and young talent which will be trained and developed on-site."
