Consumer intelligence services firm to create 40 new jobs in Cardiff
Tracesmart, a specialist supplier of consumer intelligence services, has increased its existing workforce by 50% following the creation of 40 jobs, a recent news report in the local media has been able to reveal.
The company has extended its Cardiff Bay office by a further 4,000 sq ft in order to accommodate the new staff and now occupies a total of 12,000 sq ft in the Global Reach building on Celtic Gateway Business Park.
The new jobs include IT developers and engineers and will support Tracesmart as it becomes a UK centre for LexisNexis Risk Solutions, which acquired the company in April 2014.
Rhiannon Wilcox, finance and operations director at Tracesmart, now rebranded as LexisNexis, said: "On the basis of scale and growth in demand for risk solutions, the UK is a key expansion market for LexisNexis.
"Cardiff was chosen as a centre of excellence and we will benefit from its thriving local IT industry and capitalise upon Tracesmart’s established business links in the region and beyond."
