Speech notifications inform management when workers arrive late
Colleagues working benefits offices in Wales will go on strike following a national ballot over job losses and salaries. Turnout among the Public and Commercial Services Union’s (PCS) 250,000 members balloted was 28 per cent, a figure which has been criticised as giving little mandate for action. The government said the results of the ballot were “disappointing”. The PCS, which wants a 5 per cent pay rise for members, or £1,200, says these walkouts could clash with the upcoming Budget.
