Time and attendance network deals with different pay scales
Caerphilly council holds a special meeting tomorrow (Thursday, January 17, 2013) over the thorny issue of increasing the pay of its chief executive to £158,000. The salary has already caused a storm as council staff have staged a demonstration about the award. After the protest Labour councillors on the authority issued an apology about the pay rise, which also included increases for other council chiefs. The options for amending the rise will be presented at the special council meeting.
